FROM Village for Vets: More ways to help our vets

Many ways to help our vets:
I. Donate furnishings!

Do you have furnishings that are in great condition but you are going to replace them? Donate them to a veteran. That’s what I did with my sofa. A disabled vet whose home was vandalized came to pick it up with his young son. I felt great to see them leave with joy. Why not do the same?

Dear SBRA,

HUD-VASH has limited resources for furniture and many other items. For this reason, the HUD-VASH program is grateful for any donations we can receive to serve our Veterans. We thank you so much for assisting us with giving our Veterans the items they need to live successfully and independently. HUD-VASH can no do it without you. Much appreciated. Thanks again.

II. Volunteer!
